Interested in almost anything to do with the built environment and material culture, from the macro level (urban planning, architecture) down to the micro (decorative arts, textiles).

My business blog, chock full of carpet-y goodness with a strong educational component, because I’m passionate about rugs and the cultures which produce them. We’re eager (or “keen”, as our partners in the British Isles say) to have more interaction with clients, potential customers, and anyone who’s just plain interested in what we do for whatever reason. My on-again, off-again civic blog, dedicated to chronicling my perspective on issues arising during my work as a city official, meeting summaries, and other esoterica. I’m currently Chair of our local Planning & Zoning board, so the blog is on again.
